Ok so I just got the 20 year old tape deck out of my car. Im about to put a new cd deck in. Ive got the antenna plug, the bracket... and then two mystery gray wires... They come from the left of the car. What are these for? Also will I need any kind of adapter for the bracket?

If its the kind of bracket that I am thinking then no you will not need an adapter for the bracket. It just fits in the hole and there are spots on the bracket that just fold to hold it in place. The wires should be your front speaker IIRC. What kind of deck did you get? I just picked up a panasonic CQ-C7303U and I love it sofar. Only had it for 2 days.

did you get a wiring harnes they make life alot easier than just hardwiring it in and that sucks if you ever change decks
