After fail with 85" CRX I bought a new project


Car has not moved or started for a long time. Brakes was rusted, no headlights or taillights, Radiator from other car and other naughty things.



140km trip and X is in my hands



car is in relatively good condition enough to start restoration

Looks good! Are those new parts? Have you been digging through rsjapan's honda part warehouse? So how do you guys come across these cars in europe?

All parts I polished/restored with my own hands. I think that every smal part need to be perfect.

How about whole europe I don't know. In Baltic states (Lithuania,Latvia,Estonia) there is very small amount of persons who likes 1gen crx'es. Problem is also very much in the fact that it is very difficult to find in good condition this car. Practically all of them are rusted and so one. If there is a crx in ideal condition, than it costs from 1000eur (1270$) and up.The average price for rusted CRX in Latvia is 600-700$.

Need some help. In next month I want to change piston rings for 1gen zc engine. If info is right, than:

1.bore and stroke is 75mm x 90mm ?
2.piston code: PG6?

And sizes for rings are:

TOP RING - 1.2mm wide
2ND RRING - 1.5mm wide
OIL RING - 4.5 mm wide

it's all true?

or in short version - with what engine codes I need to search rings ? D16A1.....?
