Well, if everyone helps get the word out...I was thinking of making the focus more on 1G CRX's, since there isn't really a forum dedicated to us old schoolers.

Thoughts?

I second that Tom, a 1st gen. forum is a great idea.  There still seems to be a large amount of them left on the road, although there are almost as many at Standard auto wreckers, I also believe we may be smart to cater to the 1st gen crowd a little more in the parts dept..  Get more parts availible and more tech articles from your guys experiences.  We certainly welcome all cars here but there is just something a little more special about the 1st gen. CRX.  Now I just have to go buy one!

I'll look and see what I should change. Nothing big, just names, mainly.

hehehe standard auto is 5 mins away from my house and I go there weekly seems like they get at least 1 fresh 1st gen each time I go back, still no luck finding a decent condition accord carb, apparently the baseplates have a reputation of not lasting, good news though found 1g with a mint interior, plan on stripping the dash to see how much of a bitch it'll be to put back in because mines is rattling a lot and its almost unbearable hopefully i'll get both projects done this holiday break
Who's this torque guy I keep hearing about?

USDM
86-87 teg - D16A1
88-89 teg - D16A?
Prelude H22A
Civic/DelSol B16A
teg B17/B18

JDM
ZC
B16
B18
H22

The only somewhat close to bolt-ins are the D16A1 and ZC. The others would require mount kits, and/or custom work.

us dx'ers have carb options too, apparently dual sidedraft weber's make a huge difference

Has anyone seen pics of a d16a9 (i'm pretty sure thats the dual carb teg) swapped into a 1g before?

I've heard of that engine, but never seen it. You can get the dual weber carbs here as well...I got a quote for them, $2500 CDN...
