I'm pretty happy about this... I suspect a bunch of the cars that went to GP will came back to Street Prepared....

It's just a proposal at this point, so write a letter if you want them to do it.

That being said, I think it's the right move for the car. The 92-95 Civic has been a force in FSP for quite a while, and I see it as pretty comparable to the 84-87 cars that used to dominate CSP. I like it.

I was reading about that proposal last night when I got the email notice. Right now I'm too happy in SMF and the only move for me from that would be to Prepared. I think it is a fitting move though for Street Prepared.

I just checked the draft 2014 rules from the SCCA web site, looks like the 1st gen Si has been moved to FSP.  88 and up are still in CSP.

 

Now I won't have to out drive everyone else to maintain my placing :-)
