Super light autox (E Prepared) or track day car for sale.   Excellent car for someone who likes to tinker then drive fast.

1984 solid top body.   It has a 1985 CRX Si motor built by Comptech, along with an Si tranny with Mugen LSD.  The engine upgrade was not trivial, as it required the fuel tank and fuel pump to be traded over as well.  Gude cams.  Extra stock motor and two extra trannies included.  Moroso baffled oil pan.  Lightened fly wheel.  RC Engineering injectors.

The fuel injection system has been converted to Megasquirt (MS-II), with programming by Church Automotive Tuning.  On the Church dyno it ran 115 hp at the wheels.

Comes with three sets of wheels- 13x7 Revolutions, 13x8 Keizers, 13x5" stock.  Hankook Ventus C-71 compound tires installed on the 13x7s.

Suspension features custom Koni yellows, custom front camber plates, and 24mm torsion bars in front, Ground Control coilovers are in back with Eibach springs,  along with a adjustable rear sway bar.

The body has a lexan rear window, and a carbon fiber hood.  No rust.

Interior is stripped.  Momo four slot racing seat with an Autopower harness.  There is a unique, welded X brace in the back.  Adds stiffness without the weight of a full cage.  Gauge package has a digital tach with VDO oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, and battery voltage gauges.  Momo steering wheel with spokes matching exterior color included.

All it needs is an alternator with a stand alone voltage regulator installed.   Tried running it without an alternator but not enough juice to run the cooling fan which it needed in grid, so a little work is necessary before taking it on the track.

After all the years and work on this car, my interests have moved on and its time to part company.  Its located in San Diego, CA.

$4,000 obo.  Email me at [email protected] if interested.

Road & Track magazine: "When they get around to listing the top good-time inventions of the late 20th century, we're willing to bet that right up there with the hang gliders, ultra lights, sailboards and jet skis you'll find the Honda Civic CRX. And we're willing to bet that the CRX won't be at the bottom of the short list--particularly if the CRX in question is an Si."

++++There are many parts included in this bundle that are quite difficult to find.  Great bones if you are looking for an autox/track car.
