Personally, I don't like it. But I bet once they get rid of all that black stuff and finalize the design, it'll look quite nice.

The drawing looks okay (how the backend has a slightly more defined curve in the windshield) but the car thats driving is ugly as hell.

yeah, it really DOESN'T look like a honda. Almost looks like it should be a pontiac. Those headlights REALLY don't look like the style Honda has been going for lately. If they're thinking of doing a CRX off that chassis style...
The only sound effect that can correctly convey how I feel is the Aflak duck in the Yogi berra commercial.

humm, when I first saw it I immediatly said ugly like most of yall.

However it was grown on me very quickly. I am very ready for a new design, the current one is very blah and to upright. This looks to be very out there. The front has the nice acura "slit" lights. Also the windshield is very seductive, sooo racked(sp?) The back end is reminding me to much of a little European hatch.

Keep in mind this is the 5-door model and probly only be sold in Europe

Looks like the engine will either be very tilted or half underneath the dash. Having the wheels pushed out to the corners makes it have a better stance too.

Overall I like it and look forward to more shots!

yea...it does have a sorta "mazda-esque" taillight look. I'd say it looks rather skinny and a tad tall and kinda long, although, that is just from my viewpoint. looks like...something, I just cant put my finger on it. really, it just doesnt look like a honda civic. If i saw any other year of civic driving down my street, i would know it was a civic, but if i saw that, i'd say it was a Citroen(sp?) or an Opel or something. way too smooth...but for an Si, i think it would be neat, with aerodynamics and such.
