I was expecting someone to clutch dump it in reverse with the steering wheel at full lock.

Yeah, the B20 was turned around a few times in the garage using that same method while I was installing the B20 and related wiring.

Done that more than once...
Hell, once this 80s Mercedes came in on a tow truck, his right lower ball joint had snapped. The shop was on a bit of an incline and guys were debating what to do. "No problem," I said, "jack it up on that side and steer the jack, I'll just drive the car onto a hoist." And I did. I'm sure worker's comp would have LOVED to see that one.

I typically forget to release the emergency brake.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

But at the same time, I would have one in front and one under the rear axle, attempting to traverse a 40 degree sloped driveway. So, I guess that makes me stupider?

Where the hell do these busses keep coming from that you find you need to chunk me under?
I know of someone that has done this to a wrecked 3g, and a 1st gen teg. But I won't name names.
Will I Scott, no names will escape my lips because I am sure your engineering mind has justified or denied it in some fashion.
