Ok, in my stupidity of driving w/ 1 bad motor mount I've tweaked my exhaust pipe between the cat and muffler and it's now leaking. But that's good news cause it's stock size and since I'm going turbo I wanna replace it w/ bigger/better. Anybody have or know where I can get good 2"-2.5" w/ mandrel bends that is not pacesetter but still cheap? Yeah, I know it's hard to find reliable and cheap mixed but it's worth askin.

Hey, I am planing to get my exhaust redone today at a local mufler shop, not sure what I am going to do but its going to be a side exit infront of the rear tires, I will let you know how much they charge me and see if I can upload a sound file. also I plan on just using 2" not 2"1/4 because you will get a bit less hp but more tQ... well see.

I know NAPA sells 10 foot lengths of straight exhaust pipe. They also have all kinds of mandrel bends in multiple diameters and bend angles. Maybe try there..

It cost 80 dollars, but it uses crush bends... still it sounds sweet and for 80 bucks you also loose like 15-20 pounds ...

ok, I'm convinced on what both you guys have but around here it's hard enough to find someone that won't make fun of me, let alone will work on imports. So when I mention performance they roll their eyes and say, it won't make a big enough difference for that car. Ok, sorry bout the rant, back to my get to......where can I come up w/ something that decent? And aren, do you have a cat on that?

JC Witney sells stainless steel straight tubing. Then you can have it bent somewhere.
Going to Hawaii? You need a Dune Buggy.

he its kinda funny that they laugh at you. caus really the thing is is that the newer modle cars, well there higher performance than ours stock. so once you add header intake exhuad whatever it wont do so much performance wise. my friend with a sentra se-r spec-v has i/h/e and he dynoed like 6 hp more total than stock. yeah its caus stock, it was allready up to par on what can be had aftermarket. our cars probably have the most increasements per part or amoutn of money spent that can be had.

One thing to consider concerning the side-exit. Legality. I know in Pennsylvania having the side exhaust is technically illegal unless the car came so equipped from the factory. If your inspection station is strict, you may not pass. I considered doing this when my over the axle pipe rusted through but decided not to when I found this out... for a track-only car, this can be totally disregarded..

i heard that in the state of PA that you can have a side exit on a coupe (2 door) as long as it was behind the rear of the door, and that it was illegal on a sedan (4 door). dont make sense to me about how many doors it has but thats just what i have heard in the past. but then again, i might be wrong and times do change.
