Was at an auto-x event a week or so ago and ran into a nice guy who mentioned this site. Forgot I was registered on here since about 07  Decided I would post this over here, although it seems to be Civic/CRX related forum.

Here is a shot of how i usually roll with it, Mugen spoiler is currently off the car still from winter.

A couple of shots from a month or so ago when I picked up a set of minty fresh CF-48 Aero's to replace the ok set I already had.

Couple of shots of the interior from a few weeks ago when I finally found a legit Horn button (not the correct one for the sw36, but better than ebay knockoff)

Digidash i recently restored and cleaned up

I have a ton of pics and if anyone is interested I can post my build thread on here to give a better idea of where this car came from and where it's heading.

Hopefully this post is OK since it's a prelude

I thought the 1gs ludes were more tied in to the 1g/3g as they had cvcc motors?

not 100% but fairly sure the 83-84 prelude dx might have had a cvcc engine

Love the 2g, there is way too little people into these things. My second favorite old school Honda, next to the civic and crx. SEX. I make a few different parts for the prelude like bushings, fully adjustable radius rods and most recently I am making a set of fully adjustable set of lower control arms. Here are some photos of the progress almost done.

I've one as well :)

It's an 2.0Si. A german engineer bought it in Saudi Arabia and brought it to Kuwait, where he works that time. In 1990 because of the starting gulf war he moved back to germany and shipped his car over as well. Since than it's still here. I bought it last year.

It's basicly the same as the USDM 2.0Si with only a few differences (all stock from factory):

- no catalytic converter

- JDM cornerlights

- JDM tail lights

- bronze glass

- "Electric Navigator" in english! (similar to the trip computer for the 1G CRX)

- electric antenna

- 4-speed Hondamatic with the "joy stick" shift knob

- Pioneer sound system

- no 3rd brake light

As well it has A/C, power steering, 13" mesh alloys (incl. spare tire), cruise controle, power windows, power mirrors, electric sun roof. But I think these are specs which were available on the US-models as well.

In between I bought some rear mud guards, a set of auto cover foglights, a K&N filter mat and a few smaller NOS bits for it.

Last month I had the idea to drive an other 2G as daily driver, but I changed my mind and sold it to a friend.

There's a local guy that delivers pizza in a MINT one of these, and it's an SI.  I drool every time I see him, and it's not because I want pizza.  I want to see what he'd take for the car.  Beautiful cars.

Road & Track magazine: "When they get around to listing the top good-time inventions of the late 20th century, we're willing to bet that right up there with the hang gliders, ultra lights, sailboards and jet skis you'll find the Honda Civic CRX. And we're willing to bet that the CRX won't be at the bottom of the short list--particularly if the CRX in question is an Si."

Would you 'lude guys answer a quick question for me...

What, if any, are the differences between the seats for a Prelude and a Prelude SI?? I measured the seat rails of a junkyard 2G Prelude and it looks like either should bolt right in to my 1G CRX. I found 2 sets of 2G Prelude seats an hour away - any differences besides $25 more for the SI set?

Liz

edit: never mind... got the SI seats (from an 86-89). They bolted right in and are FANTASTIC! Next improvement... running motor  B)
