Has anyone ever swapped in front 94 integra disks & calipers in the front of a 1st Gen crx?
Thanks any help appreciated.

Not sure about that combo but I'm running 87 Integra disks with 94 DelSol S brackets and calipers on my 84 Civic. Disk is not perfectly center in the bracket but everything clears. If it really bothered me I could most likely get a little of the bracket machined off, but it doesn't bother me. The brake pad options for this setup are great, looks like the 88-2000 base Civics use the same pads as the 95 Del Sol S so there is good support. Was running the HPS when I had the 87 Integra calipers as it was that or OE grade without custom ordering them. I have the HP Plus on order right now.

I was going to keep running the 1G Integra calipers and pads but my new race wheels didn't like the bracket with that setup. Happened to have a set of Del Sol 94 S brakes in the garage still from a car that I did a swap in that the brake on the right front seized up on the test drive. Once I knew they fit they became the cores for a new set. Gotta love dumb luck.

Nope you want the front brakes off of a 86-89 Integra because they bolt rite on, 4g will not work without a bunch of mods.

I'm running 94 integra/prelude calipers with 262 mm rather than 282 mm rotors.  Needs 2-3mm shaved off the caliper mounting surface, and I have to file the inside of new pads a few mm to clear the rotor center hat. The calipers are very heavy!

The pad area is a lot larger, and being in the type R size you have a great selection of performance pads.

You are likely to have increased travel on the brake pedal. In rhd cars you can replace the brake master cylinder assembly with the 94 integra one, but in lhd you don't have space to do that.

Wheel clearance is a big issue, both near the centre of the hub and out at the edge. The caliper is closer to the centre of the axle than is normal so you get fouling there with some rims. I've made 14 inch rims  fit, particularly after using a file on the caliper or the wheel centre.  Some 15's won't fit, or need a 2 to 3 mm spacer. It's a bit like the wilwood kits in that regard, you need to be careful with rim selection.

Anjin you don't happen to have pictures of your modifications?
I forgot to ask you if the 1st Gen brake lines connect with the 94 integra calipers?..

How much did that setup benefit you screech?

&Danny do you have a set of 1st Gen integra calipers for sale?

I really need to find the best brake set up for my 1g crx drag car. I'm shooting for 600 whp next season and I was having stopping issues trapping 115 this year soo who can tell me the BIGGEST and best brakes I can fit behind 13" drag wheels

13" wheels? The Integra rotors and calipers will fit behind those wheels. And that is tight, anything larger will require a larger wheel.

Stopping power is a factor of many variables of which disc/caliper size is only a small part of the consideration. Friction materials (tires and pads) are a huge factor as well. "Racing" pads usually require getting the brakes up to temperature before they start to bite well and so are not suited to someone who lives his life "a quarter mile at a time." A quality street pad like Axxis has been good for me and might work for a drag racer as they do not need to warm up to work well.

If you are making 600whp in a 1800lbs. car (and able to put that down to the ground) you might be in the territory that requires a chute to stop.

I finally got the HP Plus pads installed last week and got them bedded/broke in some. Far more braking power than before. I can compare stock to this setup back to back (I have 86 Civic Si that is still all stock) and these grab so much. I never really have had a problem of locking up my brakes with the stock brakes, ever. With the Integra setup and the HPS pads I could lock the street tires, but it required that I was actually trying to do that. I had my Z1 Star Specs on the car and was testing and it would lock with much less pressure than normally, It's almost too much brake for the street. This weekend will be their first test with the r-comps, I think I'm glad I have the 255/40R13 over the 225/50R13 that I was running up until recently. I think with the tires to temp I could lift the back wheels off the ground considering I haven't given much more that 50 pecent of my normal braking without locking the 195/60R14 Z1 SS tires.

They clear my 13" winter rims and my 13" race wheels.

I may look into the Integra brakes but yes its possible I may need a chute this year. I kinda hope so. Be badass to have a 1g that needs a chute!
