well i am not ashamed my 85 240,000 1.5 did a 19.34 in the 1/4 at 69 mph thats basicllay stock with just a header and 2 and 1/2 in pipe into a glasspack

My 3g with D16A1 brown top, only intake, toyo t1s tires, did 8.15 last year.

Not to choke you up too much, but I pulled a 18.5 in my Civic 1.3 with a 2" exhaust, dual glasspack, and a new clutch (with PP mod)

I thought that was damn good, but then Tom claims a 17 something or better in his 1.3.... IIRC.

Correct me, Tom, I know I am wrong.

hahaha show off biggrin.gif well i just replaced the clutch in mine the preveios owner said he problay did alitle damage to it before i got so i will problay go this friday to see

I ran consistent 16.7's with a stock 1.5 block, stock 1.3 head, lightened flywheel, Chikara header, and a really light car...

I think CRXsteve ran consistent high 16second passes with his bone stock crx dx (87) with a si header and cherry bomb as a muffler.
When I raced him a while back in my87 si with header, filter, and axleback exhaust, we weredead even, and he had a full tank and a passenger! WTF!!
Iguessthe extra hp the si is canceleed out by its weight...? any ideas?
we were both pretty much same drivers, and it makes sense because the si 1/4 mile time is 16.7 seconds.

Either way, im not ashamed of teh dx performance after that. Its a damn fast car for stock.
