The purpose of this thread is show me how many serious buyers there are out there. If you are "thinking" of getting one, please state so, i do not mind some discussion, especially about price, design and anything else that may concern you. So as many of you know im going to be making adjustable panhard bars to enable us 1st/3rd geners to lower our cars without having the suspension shift to the passenger side. I will have a stock one from a member in the mail probably very soon. As soon as it arrives il be making a prototype for the person who sent me the OEM panhad bar.
Now to go over a few things, i want to make them out of tube steel, round, 1 1/4". It will be somewhat basic using a 1" NC piece of hardened threaded rod with two 1" nuts and two 1" jam nuts. The only downfall to this design is that you will need to remove either end of the rod to adjust it up and down. Although i highly doubt you will have to adjust this more than once, maybe twice depending on the drop.
Two choices with the ends; thick tube steel with polyurethane bushings, and a steel insert for where the pin/bolt rides through; or ball bearing ends.
Just a basic photo.
Im going to make these reasonably priced while still making them fully functional and strong.

Chedda, registering interested in one of these if I don't end up having my housemate make me one (old one that Anjin made me has been stolen!)

Mill a hex in the center of your 1" All Thread for 13/16 wrench or maybe just two flats. Something you can put a wrench on and hold while you tighten the jam nuts.

Would want a bushing version, and would list them for sale on heeltoeauto.com. Although you would be better to get a turnbuckle sort of threaded adjuster and reverse-thread one side so you don't need to take it off to adjust. I can't commit without this.

I'm in as ell and also agree with mr d. Being able to adjust this thing while its in would be great and a lot less of a hassle for those of us with limited space (IE no garage)

Ah yes if i was to get a LH rodend and RH rod end and mount them on either end of the sway bar, this would make them essentially adjustable without the need of any removal. The threaded nuts on the bar could be used to adjust them in and out, I need a stock pan hard bar so I can go ahead and start ordering parts.....Hurry peoples
I would definetly be interested in selling them on Heeltoe auto, looking forward to it actually

I have the 20 x 1.50 tap for the panhard bars that I was making a few years ago. You can have it. If you need help with the rod end one let me know I can help you with the parts. An 1 1/8" bar is what I used on mine.
