Did you add the wires for the crank angle sensor? Did you use shielded wire?

Check and make sure the B16 Map sensors wire placments are the same as the EW4 one. It could be the wires are reversed so when you plug it in, it doesnt work correctly.

yeah i did wire the crank angle sensor. i used the stock EW4 engine harness on the B16 and used the wires that were in the Harness for it and ran the Ignition signal wire and the oher two wires along side the fire wall to the distributer.

to get things a lil better i used the stock EW4 MAP ( wrigged up) for right now and it runns better but not good so yeah i think my wires are connnected wrong so i gotta mess with that . but runs fine with the EW MAP sensor.

Yeah id check that map sensor out... And sometimes if they are hooked up backwards they stop working for good. So id check to see if the map sensor is actually functional if it was hooked up wrong.

Also im wondering how the VSS was wired up? Wires go straight to the ECU?

how would i be able to cheack if the MAP is functional or not ?

KAKABOX write up on his cars VSS made things alot clear .but yeah one ground and on straight to the ECU.

well so far the goal of geting the car running with int 30 days have be lost as you guys know. but lil by lil things have been coming together.

after all this this finally ive founda 87 shift lingage and shiter that fits perfictly wit my swap.

Like my buddy C8V6C ive also tried to get some new 86-89 integ axles to work with my swap but for me it doesnt work.

SO ive ordered hasport axles today and they should be in within a week.

That's wierd bro, you have seen mine in person....for some reason, they work with my Ishaft setup. Glad to hear it is running, even if it is only limping wink.gif

YUP YUP i took it for a drive around the block. i think i need to use the b16 clutch cable. and well yeah idk im tryin to find another PR3 ECU cuz i have been told may times now that ecu could be bad also ... so jus doin my own lil diagnostic

In my experience, when I encountered a bad ecu, the car wouldnt run at all.....I dunno if that is your problem but give it a shot, just don't buy it till you know it fixes the problem

The clutch cable I used was for a 88-91 crx I believe...they all work about the same for our years.
