hey everyone i have a 3g civic with a carbed d15a2 cvcc and i want more power out of it so i was wondering if i should just do a d16a1 1g integra engine swap or if i should do some head work on my engine and turbo it?

i cant afford much witch is why i am only gona do the integra engine if i do the swap but the price of the engine and the price of the turbo and head work cost about the same so witch option would be more benificial to me

oh and im in california so none of this is leagle so i really dont care about smog equipment

thanks for any help before hand

kyle

The turbo is alot less predictable of a project than a Teg swap. I'd go with a teg swap in your case.

You wouldnt have to do any wiring if you used bike carbs on the teg engine

Swap it! Then save more money and turbo that motor!

personally id find the lowest mileage 88-89 intergra you can, swap over to FI and just drive it.
If you buy a donor car youll have 95% or more of what you need.
