I know what you mean. Damn I just woke up and the site wasn't letting me on. It's like I was being punished for something I didn't even do. sad.gif

The server crapped out shortly after I left for work, and I had no way of resetting it. I am rethinking how I'm going to run the site.

Tom, are there hardware or software upgrades that need to be made to the server to keep the site more stable? if so, im sure that there wont be much trouble getting enough donations to cover the cost. just let us know how we can help.

I've been playing with Vitrual Server 2005 R2 recently. I like that I can remotely reboot, logon. Not sure how well that would work for a site as busy as this one though. Microsoft seems to think it can do alot though.

Works fine for my small needs. Right now it's running on an XP Pro machine, but I'll be converting my "Old Beast" to Server 2003 this year and it'll then run the Virtual Server 2005 R2 on it.
