Sweet! I tried to find these at walmart last night and didn't see them. Does anyone know if they are still available? I meant to pick one up when they came out a little while back but forgot.

Anyway...

*UPDATE* Since the wifey and I are still separated (things are going well though, we'll start couples counseling next week smile.gif ) and we alternate weekends w/ the kiddos, I'm supposed to have the kids the weekend of the 28/29th. I *might* be able to have someone watch them for me as the wife will be out of town in Durham that weekend for a medical conference.
Have to see what strings I can pull.

bryman<---praying and with fingers crossed

there are 2 at the local walmart here. I can get ya one if you want and just bring it to Screech's if you are going

Another update, I drove around town stopping at houses/businesses and such with "nice" cars just sitting. 3 cars later and I've got 2 leads on an 84-85 Wagon and an 86-87 CRX. CRX looks the most promising as the guy's mom said he wants to sell.

So what are some things you guys and gals want to do while here? Turn wrenches, drink, camp, cook out, waffle house, drive, play GT4? I'm open to ideas, I'll post the address and cell phone number in a week in the first post.

So far the weather on the 27th looks like it'll be great, still can't see the 28th and 29th though, will be able in a couple days though.

Screech <-- Getting excited. Well, back to the garage for me.

I have some parts that are arriving this week, and hope to have the crx off the jackstands, and back on the road. If I am able to make it, I will modt likely come out for the day then have to go back later in the day, just too much stuff going on around here/work.

Turning wrenches, camping, and cookout sound good to me. I plan to bring a long extension cord and my anti-snoring device, so as not to scare the neighbors or local wildlife...

Any nearby autocrosses on Sunday?

It is probably time to start a parts to bring/swap list. I probably will bring the following:

'86 Si front bumper, black, with lower chin spoiler
'86 Si rear bumper, black
1 Bosch foglight, from an '84

What parts are others looking for?

I still have dibbs!!

Saturday I may be getting an entire 87 CRX, then need to decide if I want to keep/sell/part it. I still have not heard a word about the 85 CRX Si that I found. I have odds and ends all over to sell trade, not all of it is car related. Variety of axles and intermediate shafts. Maybe even a red Rex Center panel, depend on that CRX I'm looking at and what I do with it.

I don't know of any events this weekend that are not in a straight line, but I've not looked, been really busy working on the car and carving/skinning up pumpkins.

In spite of how much I have been preparing, I won't be able to make it. I need to maintain peace on the home front...

I am disappointed, since I have been getting both of my Blackburn Metallic CRXs ready, so that I could choose to bring either one.

Screech, PM me your mailing address and I will ship you the foglight, gratis. You deserve it for hosting this meet.

Sorry, everyone.

Wow, people dropping left and right.

I'm starting to think I bought too much food. Right now it looks like Blacksheep and I are the only expected people.

Oh well, The car will not be fully road legal anyway, I have one gear on the tranny and I've not decided to figure out which it is yet. It's stuck in the gear even in nuetral. I've also jumped out of the $4k project box to $5k, just ordered a Y1 with LSD. It looks to be an ok tranny for the engine, overall 1st is taller than in an S1, but the rest are shorter. 60MPH with my 205/40r16 should be 2932 with the S1, the Y1 should be at 3333. Top speed (if rpm limited): S1 137MPH; Y1 120MPH.
