I had a 1979 cvcc-civic and it would not start up one morning so i went in the house told my wife i needed a push start, told her it needs to be about 35 mph to start. Its a honda-matic, she went off in her car i waited for 2 min. didn't know were she was going. I looked in my rearview mirror and seen her coming up behind and was doing about 40 mph ( "Slam" ) i should have explained better.

The car looks really good. I'm glad somebody is taking the older cars out of the feilds and back to the streets. This comming weekend I'm picking 2 1980 civic hacth's with the intention of the same build. I have a 13.1 Ls Vtec To put in it. The motor made 177hp with a b16 header. The motor has been consistant 13.1's @ 101-103 mph in a 91 crx witha ls tranny. Was the frame rail width an issue with the alt like in the 88-91 civics/crx's? I'd planned on using a engine harness from a 92-95 civic since I can have it tuned using crome. I still need to do a further inspection of both cars before I can decide weather or not the chassis are gonna be salvageable. I got both cars and a title 4 one of the for $250.00 . I have been tring to do this for a few years now, but the last car I was gonna get got crushed by accident at my friends salvage yard. My friend sent me a link from Honda Tech with a autocrosser with the same swap you have. I'm aslo tring to pick up a 1975 hacth that another salvage yard has coming in. Keep us updated on the progress.

I had to do the same thing to the fuel return line had it welded at my dads job for free. Before:
After:
Switch the return and supply lines around. The thicker 3/8 will be the supply and the other the return.

Was there anyone who helped you out with this swap? I imagine it would have been a pain in the ass without... Got anyone to refer me to?
