Awright!!!
Thanks Tom for all of your work. If I'm not able to get 23's does anyone want to trade a set of 27 or 29's?
I really want some 23's for my one car and 27's for the other.
Thanks to all for the great responses.
This is gonna happen, I can feel it!!!!
Sincerely,
Mike

I would buy a set of 27s. I was just going to buy them from OPM. Anyone ever done a coilover conversion on the front?

Coilover on the front? Uhhh, I think that would involve a front end swap... more work than it's worth, even if torsion bars are hard to come by.

One or more of the serious racer guys has done it, GTPilot I think. I don't believe it involved a front end swap, but I don't think it was necessarily straightforward either. If you started a thread about it they might respond. You could probably also dig something up by looking back through the threads.

"GReddy e-manage" is excellent in the generality and the expansion. And it is a low price further. Therefore, you can direct an engine too economy, easily. Then, you are relieved, and you can choose it. Future tuning begins first from "e".

I had PMed GtPilot earlier when i first joined the site, the front suspension was converted to a double A-Arm design....also the main problem is that the top of the shock tower is not reinforced enough to handle the weight of the car....GtPilot had the tops cut off and 1/4" thick metal plate welded on the top of the shock tower....in the end im sure the setup has a lot of advantages on the race track but i'm not sure how it would do on the street.....
One thing i did notice however is that the 88-91 civic/crx front strut fits into the 86-89 integra hub (so i assume 84-87civic/crx is the same) and it is slightly shorter than the stock strut....so you would need to remove the torsion bars and strengthen the shock towers.....all in all it might cost more to do this than to get some t bars...
