Who is this racer? A hand full of you know. So who is this crazy young guy?:

I know who this is, and the first race car I ever owned was one of these. Well, not EXACTLY one of these, I had a Zink C4 which this clearly is not.

The gentleman in questions wife (I believe) recently acquired a new CRZ though. wink.gif

If you love the Elise, drive a Se7en - Caterham or whatever...
It has even less content than the Elise, is less graceful looking
...and changes direction like a ping pong ball whacked by Thor.

Douglas Aircraft. Burbank, California:

Douglas? Burbank?

Douglas California plants were at Santa Monica, El Segundo and Long Beach. Judging by the aricraft pictured, I would guess those shots are from Long Beach, the current home of the Boeing/McDonnal-Douglas C-17.

Earlier picture of the large wooden aircraft (there was very little Spruce in that structure) was officially known as the "Hercules" and that hangar has become a movie studio where the motion capture for "Avitar" was recorded.

I'm sure you're right Scott. I was just using the name on the image when I found them.

I'll update the original post.

Thanks for the replies people! I've really enjoyed sharing some of the stuff I stumble across.

But I think it's time to put this thread to rest.

Feel free to continue to add stuff, but I'm going to stop now.

Take care all!
