Cool, but seriously, you guys need to learn how to take action pictures...

it's the damn 2 second delay on my digi cam. my pic of doodson and that old 1200 civic weren't half bad tho

I second that. Never using my digital camera for action again....SLR only.

Well, you have to anticipate the delay, and pan with the car the whole time. All it takes is a little practice, which is easy with a digital.

Or you could just get a digital SLR. We have the Canon Rebel Digital and it's fast!

The purple 1G is Jonsey's car, he is from Vancouver Island, which is why you haven't seen it.... he was at the march meet, he came with joe_3_G.

And yes, there is a road racing track at the end of the 1/4 mile track....

Cheers,
Mark

I would like to do this again next year for sure! I am thinking something drier, like late august instead? wink.gif

But the racing is so much more fun to watch in the rain cool.gif

I agree meets can happen w/e, but we should plan somthing big..I mean really big. Like maybe camp out the weekend of the knox climb in kelowna. Or a Race weekend at mission. This might give people who live a little farther a reason to come out, instead of comin out for a day. hmm maybe next N meet? lol. I dunno what do you guys think? -Matt

Not that I know of unfortunately sad.gif

The drag track is open to public on some friday nights for drag racing, but not road racing, too dangerous.

I was going for camping this meet, but no one looked interested, so I just made it what I made it.

Everyone wants a meet, but nobody is willing to organize it! rolleyes.gif

Cheers,
Mark

i'd organize one, but i know that nobody would come, so there is no point in trying.....Kansas is such a lonely state....
There are 3 goals when modding a car.
Cheap, Reliable, and Fast.
Now the down side. You only get to pick 2...
