Thanks for the support, like I said she's coming along. I know it's not even close to a total to us but the body shop I took it to said the insurance company would consider it a total for sure. CRTRIPLEX-what the story on your sig pic?

I have repaired mine a couple of times after being "totalled" and have not regretted doing so. Once after being hit by a tractor trailer I found a replacement door, fender and trim from a matching SI brought to the junkyard for a blown engine. There is always hope and perseverance.

he is responsible for paying for damage, even on privet property, we had a car hit by a stranger, who was comming up our driveway in the middle of the night for some reason, and he ended up paying everything, even tho the car he hit was a beater.
when talking to insurance about a "totaled" car, remind them that it is a collectible show vehicle, that you have photos of it befor it was hit, and that it was in mint condition, and if possible documentation of work that has been done to it to bring it up, or keep it at the condition it's in, it's not something that you can easly replace.
if he doesn't pay, you can put a lien on his vehicle, or other property, meening that he still owes you the money, and can't sell his truck or whatever untill he pays you, it doesn't fix your problem right away, but it makes his life more a pain in the ass in a leagle way for not cooperating.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

if you need parts, i can give you my crx dx rear bumper/mounts and the filler panel under the lights for cheap. they have some small damage on them, but nothing like what you have there. maybe we can meet somewhere. i might even have a hatch for you, but i have no way of bringing it to ya. i think i sold my extra set of tails and my filler panel. ill have to double check.
heck, you can even HAVE my old crx si if you want it for free....just has some rust issues.
