Honestly, most "tuner" magazines like the big budget, more popular builds. Carburators are concidered "dionsaur" technology (as well as our wonderfull, light weight alumunium drums) and most "tuners look at a plenum with PGM-FI and think WTF???. The truth is, unless it has VTEC on the side skirt with a K series and supercharger spooling a turbo thats sticking out of the damn hood (not to mention in big, bold letters that says "HONDATA" located dead center of the windsheild), we have a better chance of being struck by lightning!
By no means am I saying my car should be in a mag (and to this day, I dont think it should have taken a trophey at the last car show I went to...) but I know I have ABSOLUTLY no shot in hell to have an article. Untill the editors get there heads out of there couperate ass's, real daily driven FACTUAL budget builds will remain on the side lines while mommy and daddy pays to have there son's/daughters car on the cover...
Sorry, my rant for the day...

Has anyone mentioned G AE82's all motor, k series, trophy winner?
Think about it, its a shoe-in and allows an easy to accept, middle-ground between new and classic to ease some, otherwise uninterested, viewers into the accepting the idea of a classic into mental masturbation territory- that is what people buy car magazines for after all!
