I was assuming since it's a 96 GSR bottom end, I would be searching for B18 clutch parts as opposed to B16 parts due to the B16 trans choice.

for clutch stuff u need it for whatever trany your gonna use motor has nothing to do with it.90-01 92-93 cable 94 up hydro.head studs use gsr for 1.8 and b16 for 1.6 they arent the same

Hope I'm reading this correctly. You're saying to use GSR head studs?
If I used the catalog correctly, the ARP part number is #208-4303 for B18C1 GSR "M11" head studs. Can anyone verify?
Also, I thought the B trans all used the same spline count, so I'm suprised the cable vs. hydraulic require different clutches. Don't they all use similar throw-out bearings?

There are 3 B-series Clutchs, not counting the 3Gen Prelude motors.
90-91 Cable
92-93 Cable
94-01 Hydrolic
Buy a clutch that matches what transmission you have/end up buying.
The Throw Out Bearings and Pilot Bearings are vastly different from 90 through 01.
You need the GSR headstuds.

I'm not a fan of organic material clutches... and you might need more grip than that in the future.
IMO it is a good idea to hold off on the expensive extras such as light flywheel until after the swap is done and the bugs have been worked out so you have $ in the bank to make sure everything else gets done first- swapping can dig up a lot of unforeseen costs

So anyone have experience with which intake manifold will clear the firewall well?
I'm looking into sort of Type R style stuff, but I'm not sure what will fit.

My PR4 intake cleared, but i had to make a dent so i could remove the lower IACV bolt if i ever needed to. The PR3 intake fits as well.

I believe I have a PR3 from an older Civic (early 90's maybe) but it looks like it could be way too deep to clear, which is partly why I was looking for something a little smoother and more compact, also I just couldn't help but think there's one that is better for hp.
I'm also assuming it'd have to be for a B18C1 or B16 to fit my head, which is also why I was leaning towards a Type R, but I don't wanna spend money to find out it doesn't fit!

If your head is a GSR, then you can only use intakes made for the GSR. Its got a bolt pattern that is entirely its own.
There's 3 B-series intake manifold patterns, LS/B20, GSR and B16/ITR.

Since your a B16 head id probably look for a stock ITR/CTR intake manifold. But i think the Skunk2 is a reproduction of a stock ITR manifold.
