there are a lot of mix feelings about Rota. as a company they want the masses to be able to afford the look of the best. As the best you dont want to be copied by everyone. I am not a fan of the 48s... they look odd to me. but to each its own. as for the Rotas... Correct me on this but I know that rota wheels are not exactly as the originals. They always have a small detail to set them apart. For example I had the Rota subzeros... replicas of the Hart Racing. and they made sure the rotas only had one bolt pattern not a universal pattern. as for the kids that think rotas are the best.... Let them be. Someday they will realize how ignorant they really are. Just accept that you know better.

If you guy's knew what I know about CF-48's (some of you may and I have told 2 members secretly) THEY WOULDN'T be that JDM TASTIC anymore to you, or even that rare to you.. HELL I could say something that will drop value on cf-48's more than the ROTA clones can drop them.

I cant tell though, If you think you have the answer be my guest lol..

All I see under my nose is hair, boogers, and occasionally a white crust. Where do we get the CF-48s? Are they new old stock ones?

1988 Honda Accords. Factory option in 14". You can look them up on car-part.com

I've been up and down that list several times. I'm sure people get lucky from time to time, but I haven't had any luck going that route. Most yards don't really have them/can't find them/or the car just has some aftermarkets on it. One yard even sent me a set of Audi wheels complete with Audi center caps even after I sent them a pic of the ones I was looking for...

Good luck everybody.

yea, so everyone knows they were sold at dealerships from like 84-88. GRM had TWO project cars sporting them. that won't drop the price.

fact is, these wheels were made for our cars, ugly or not. these wheels definately follow function over form. they are just giant heat-sinks for the brakes!

i know where i can find 2-3 full sets brand new in boxes at a local dealership. just sitting in there back room they won't sell.

also, there is a huge difference between the bodykit and the rims:

wheels: anyone can rock them from EK's to Miatas
bodykit: only peeps with 84-87 CRX can rock 'em. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
1986 Civic Si; b16a is in.. just gotta get it running..
