What did you do for the coolant line to the turbo?  All my hoses are too big to try and adapt to the turbo.

I have nothing for coolant lines right now-( let it idle for a couple of minutes before i shut her off.) I've got an SI block so i will run lines from the oil cooler to the turbo. (I think it's a 5/16 I.D. line needed?)

Just added coolant lines from the oil cooler( used 3/8th I.D. hoses). Big problem right now is finding the proper metal exhaust gaskets for the HF manifold to adapter plate and to the T-25- have blown 2 sets of the paper ones and the third is going (Boost is down to 9 psi).

No idea if this works or not but might be worth a try. At least it's free.

Thanks for the tip but he also says it's not for turbo application. I have just found some metal exhaust pipe gaskets that i pieced together and it has been holding for a week now. I will try to get a hold of some copper material to use for long term.
I drove out to Mission today being as it was sunny in Richmond only to hit rain and hail just outside of Mission.(Saw the sign that says race was cancelled) It's too bad cuz she's running really strong.

For anyone who is sitting on the fence on this one, I took a trip over to Vancouver to pick up some parts (thanks again, Mark!!!) and dropped by eldo's shop to see his car and hopefully go for a rip.

This thing is just sick.... If you were wondering if it was worth it or not, it is!!!! If it weren't for my 11:1 compression, I'd already be swapping mine over!!!

I would be happy to help but i have never played with mikuni's (I've used them for a short period but have not gotten inside them to figure out what makes them tick) From what i hear, they are way easier to convert to blowthrough because they are so much more adjustable and are designed to flow more fuel than the motor actually needs, especially the accellerater pumps. Turbo with twin mikuni's would be quite a handful (Would make better power with a lot less restiction than my 28/32 Keihins which right now is causing a lot of handling problems- suspension twisting even in 4th gear- i'm all over the road in 3rd.) An friend of a friend of mine used to build a lot of blowthrough webber carbs(Still has an old 1.6 Toyota that made close to 300 hp on a 32/34 single Webber.) If i can get the info on how to convert them, i'll pass it to you. If you like power, you will never look back on this one. (My muscle car buddies that run quicker then 10's all get out of the car with shits and giggles)

If we can figure that out, that'd would rock!

I think a t3 would work... what about a turbo from a deisel pickup? J/K!

Mabye i'll ship them out there for you to play with them over winter..

Dont break them
I have nothing...

saw a 4cyl mustang with a diesel(dumptruck) turbo on it once...that was insane!! it was fast but damn the spooll lol... he said that he'd floor it as soon as he'd get to the lights at the track, by the time it was green he'd be getting bout 12psi of 25psi max boost sometimes more! that car was crazy for a 4banger stanger. IMO anyone with a 4cyl mustang should defenaitly go for LXvtec lol tongue.gif

the setup is pure sex! im thinking about it....

I have a 32/36 weber on my car right now. I was thinking about turbo charging it. I have a couple of questions. Would a box style be better? Or is better or easier to do a setup like eldo's? Where did Edlo get his holly fuel pump and rising regulator for 75 bucks.

I think eldo did use a box on top of his carb...

I heard that putting a box around the whole carb is better. I don't know.

then how would you actuate the throttle? build it right the first time and not mess with it anymore
