looks good, I was wondering what did you use to shave your side molding on the door skins/fenders/rocker? and how did it come out?
I used fiberglass filler to fill the side moldings. The doors came out nice but for some reason the filler in the fenders is starting to pop out a little. I think maybe I didn't scuff the groove in the fenders enough for the filler to adhere. I have better fenders that I got from Chedda_J on the way (mine are cracked and filled with figerglass and bondo), so I'll use fiberglass to fill the groove. It will be much easier to fill the grove with fiberglass with the fenders off! I plan to do the same to the door side panels once I find a decent set at the junk yard.
The rear bumper is the stock SI bumper. I tried filling the groove on a spare DX bumper but it started popping out as I mounted it to the car so I gave up on it. I later found a flexible body filler that would have been a better choice for the bumpers.
My car is a "10 footer", meaning it looks great from 10 feet away, but when you start looking it over closely you can see some flaws. This summer I plan to solve this problem by concentrating on the body and interior.
I'll keep you guys posted!
