I'm not trying to flame you, I think that all your work is excellent, but why would you use Krylon paint for the plastic pieces in such a nice car??
i agree dude. you put too much blood, sweat and money into this thing to make it look like you had a nice car then broke plastic and then pieced all the plastic together from a scrapyard and threw a quick primer on it. but, it's your car. hell, it might look good, the end result will speak for itself.

Spray paint can look good if you take you time with it. Most people are dissapointed by rattle can paint because they don't have the proper conditions or patience needed to make it look good. Krylon makes excellent paint and it's just as good as any single stage paint job.
My car has a rattle can paint job, I just wanted it to look a little better while I'm working on it. Most people don't even notice until I tell them "it's just a rattle can paint job". Eventually I will pull out the spray gun and go to town with it.

i think the gloss/flat 2tone is gona look awusome, but id consider having it shot real paint, but have them add a flattning agent to the clear so you have a paint job that will stand the test of time and still be flat

i wasnt thinking earlyer, have them shoot the whole car black and clear the whole car then go back, and wetsand the bottom pieces with some 1500-2000 grit wetsand paper, it will be strong, long lasting and will be the flat look your going for

Hey, at least he has car paint on the lower half of his car. My rex had pitted metal paint from Home Depot on the lower half. It actually looked pritty desent, and if anything ever chipped anywhere, it was an easy fix and mask
But his project is killer, lots of good stuff going on here. I can't wait to see it finished and hear some on track results. It should be a complete blast to drive when done.
Keep it up!
