13" Tires? Which Size?

As long as we're on this subject.
I have the 87 stock alloy wheels (14s) and looking for a good tire size for both street and autoX currently I have 185/60/14s I really don't mind the gearing reduction... if my speedo reads 5-10mph higher than I'm actually going it will do me some good

go and buy some 185/60/13 Toyo RA1's . they fit nice on those rims and are about 1 " shorter than the 205's (better get up and go gearing)

do the 195s or 205s require fenderwell mods not to rub?

ive been running falken ziex 205 60 14 and had no problems. ill be switching to a 13 vx rim soon tho. still shopping for a sticky street tire too. scott

I've had 185/60-13, 195/60-13, 205/60-13, and 215/50-13s on Honda 13x5s on my CRX, never any rubbing.

Also tried 205/60-14 on 14x5.5s and they rubbed horribly. I'd have to assume your car wasn't lowered if they didn't rub.

bumping an old thread but what is the width of the Stock CRX DX wheels? 13x? and does anyone know the weight difference?

Stock DX size is 13x5 with a 175/70R13 tire.
