im sure i have a JDM EW3 manifold with its original wiring loom still on it and it HAS the PLUG ONLY for the fifth injector for the CVCC but there is no injector there so its just a loose plug. maybe this could be used if it exists... for an EW5 convo

It has the plug for the fifth injector but where does the injecto go.....It almost looks like there is a different fuel rail on the ew5 as well. I may want to try this conversion in the near future....probally a few months from now. seeing how I have the rite head to do it.

i will get you some pics tomorrow of where the fifth injector goes it injects into the CVCC runners for the ports. and yes there is a different fuel rail on it to make way for the 5th injector it is mounted to the left of where the fuel pressure reg is. i have an EW5 ecu and manifold+TB i could sell for you to make the swap if you want

I will keep this in mind...IM just curious how this would run with the stock si bottom end (more compression). If done i would need then cam and valve train for the cvcc to. Thanx man ill keep that in mind.

it will have more power with SI pistons but i dont think it would be a problem and yes i have a cam for it you could have as well. but what valve train pieces do you need wouldnt you just use the USDM CVCC head?

Thanks.

I wonder if the EW5 throttle body would work and fit on the EW3 intake manifold and if it would have any benefits.

Here is the Si Intake Manifold:

Notice the little hole on the intake manifold? Could end up just being blocked off or leading to nothing on the si, but if it routes into the main chambers, could be a nice little extra secondary, LOL!

Yeah that would do nothing, that port is in the throttle body for the cvcc ports.....that is what that hole in the intake run too. No differnece the throttle body swap would make. Though about it a long time ago.

Why would the Si Intake Manifold have ports for CVCC? It could always be ported and opened up to the big chambers, maybe.

Right, but that intake manifold above is off of a D15A3 with no CVCC, not the EW5.
