Seeing the bulge in the hood, I would assume it has a ZC, or refited B series. If I had it shipped over, I wouldn't worry about registering it from another country as the Maryland emmissions people have never checked my VINs, just the paper I give them. I would just say it is a U.S. CRX retro fitted to JDM specs. Most, knowing the import scene, would not know the difference. That car would be worth the risk. I would say as long as you have a same gen CRX, being that car is sweet, may be worth having the VIN plates cut and swapped. Maybe it would be a problem in Canada, or California, but here in Maryland I seriously doubt any MVA employee would wake up long enough to notice.
