I wasn't trying to make everyone's favorite kakabox upset and I'm glad you didn't take it that way. I am happy with my wheels. I was talking about your (kakabox) signature at the bottom of every thread showin the HEAVY (12 lb) wheels. And hope you feel it a great complement that everyone feels your car is basically the pinnacle of 3g civicness so possibly having something better would be a great achievement!
One question... What are the philips screws for in 2 of the lug holes on the lenso wheels mounted to the car?

All in good fun...no offense taken at all!
Yeah, I've got to update that 'in action' shot of the K'box in my sig...I haven't run an ax event on the Miata wheels since 2007! That pic is over 4 yrs old!
The phillips head screws you see through the holes in the wheels are the factory brake disc retention screws. They keep the disc attached to the stub axle flange so it doesn't come loose when you remove the wheel. The rear brakes are from an '89 Integra.
At 10 lbs each (my scale) the 13 x 6 BBS Mahle wheels are not as light as the 9.5 lb 13 x 7.5 Lensos.
FWIW, I fully restored the wheels by hand using the 'Kakalathe' and wheel paint:

Thank you for the kind words regarding the Kakabox.
Cheers,
