DUDE! Going to be rocking, I know.

However, for all of the newer members: the pictures in this thread do NOT even come close to giving this man's car any justice. Post up some from that last pro-shoot with olskoolteg at the mill/plant in the desert, or whatever...those were WOW good.

Thanks. I'm really getting into the little details this time around.

More Parts. Wow the only difference between the Si mount and LS rear mount is the width where it attaches to the Hasport mount.
Shoot should've just put it into a vice.

99 Si rear mount

Hasport Mount kit

Fidanza Lightened Flywheel

Painted NH-82 Bay Shaved over 35 un-needed holes
I know there are some visible but those are hidden once parts will be installed
It was a pain to fill, sand, etc so I kinda got lazy

Nah, not lazy. just smart... The shaved bay thing looks so nice, but I feel like some people take it too far. I can't wait to see how this all turns out. I had my first "B-in-a-1G" experience the other day with Ballade's CRX and now I'm hooked. You are going to freekin love all that power. Plus your bay is going to look great!

Went into surgery today. Time has come for the transplant.
Doctor, doctor, doctor...we're not doctor's

Patient-ly waiting

The gurney. Turns out a creeper is a good mode of transport for motor and trans

Easy does it. Don't want to scratch up all the hard work.

Tight fit. Mount kits aren't too forgiving. Take your time here.

Time is right!! It took a long time. I had to put this motor in solo.

In!!!!

Wow that was a work out. I don't even want to say how long it took to get this motor in, I'm actually embarrassed.
For people going to work with the Hasport mounts. Leave the tranny mount off the chassis until the motor tranny is below the frame rail.
Once it's there put in the chassis bracket and rear tranny bracket. I needed all the room I could get so I could minimize the scratches/headaches

Good job! I thought I was the only one dumb enough to do an engine swap by myself. I worked night shift and would keep the same sleep schedule on my days off. I'd work on my projects when everybody was asleep.
