Holy shit! Even if the engines were replaced that's still amazing!

my '84 hatch back had 249,645 miles on it when it was in a freeway pile up, and I got the car back from the insurance compeny so I could keep the engine and straight body parts, if the car had not been smooshed I had plans the fallowing week to take it on a 5000 mile road trip.
I was hoping to keep it forever, and dubble that 250,000

1986 Civic Si with 250,000+ on the chassis and about 40,000 on ZC motor.. I pulled my EW with 200,000 on it.. Still ran strong though but wouldn't pass smog here in Cali (needed a rebuild)..
RIP Block# D16A12011451.. It will be missed..

well the 86 dx had 334xxxkm on it before pervious owner bent the valves.
the 84 dx had 365xxxkm on it when i pulled it out and put it in a 86 sedan and i know it was on the road running about a year ago so probably at 400xxxkm now.
the 86 sedan engine (1500s) has 225xxxkm and running
the 86 si has 190xxxmiles on it and running strong
my 89 crx has 294xxxkm and starting to blow blue on cold starts.

There are 3 goals when modding a car.
Cheap, Reliable, and Fast.
Now the down side. You only get to pick 2...
Fact: A recent study shows that 92% of all teenagers have turned Emo.
Put this in your sig if you're one of the 8% who stayed gangster as $h!t.

yeah i know this isnt a 3rd or 1st gen but my 1988 accord 5spd had a new motor put in at 275,000 miles... and with the original tranny its now at about 325,000 miles lol. thats ~12-13 times around the world! then again i think the ultimate goal is to have low mileage so im screwed

247,000 total. I replaced the engine at 238,000 miles
with an engine that had 168,000 miles.
I have another engine, which supposedly has a cam and
maybe good pistons with 120,000 miles on it but
was supposedly rebuilt right before the dude totalled it.
I guess that will be my next swap most likely.
(It's still in the wrecked car)
