So the real buring question.... what are you going to do for a hood, you cant just not run you own custom CF hood because you have a mugen kit... I think this plot will thicken.

He's got the ones that are stock langth. I don't think it would be a problem to use that one with the kit.

Congratulations Marcus, sounds like you've caught your unicorn. Just curious will you be keeping the CR-X in grey or changing the color?

Nice pics! lucky for you to find an original

the main difference between that original kit and the houseman I have is that the original actually FITS the car. Ive never fitted such a poorly made kit before, and Ive even done a few $200 el cheapo ebay hackjob kits before. not one single hole, line, cut, or surface is worth a crap. hell, I had to cut the bumper mount brackets out and glue them back in where they were supposed to go, even. They were an INCH off! Maybe mine was a fluke, it was one of the first made, but if i had known how low qual it was i would have stayed far, far away.
Ive got so much time and work into it at this point that Im pretty sure Ill never be able to enjoy it once its finished, so keep your eyes open for a FS post in a couple of months.

its true that theres nothing like an original...

My how-to's
JDM digital dash
JDM power windows

My project needs your help
Parts wanted

You are the only person that I know of who has ever had any problems fittng a Houseman repro. Pritty much the only work I've heard people having to do was when they were mounting the rear fender flares...

Out of curyosity, you didn't try to mount the kit onto the later SIs that have the longer bumpers, and flush headlights did you? >_>
