*coughs* Hi, I'm Allen and I'm a Honda addict. *coughs* ph34r.gif

On a lighter note, I guess my excuse is that I normally just don't think about it. When I type in an open topic, I look at it like a conversation rather than a letter. Now a PM is a different story, especially if it involves money or parts; I'm gonna make sure you know who I am. I guess being formal is just a lost art. Look at kids nowadays and texting, "lol tlkin to my bff jill". Now that's annoying.

(I see you had the same idea Sarge!)

Wow this has turned into an introduce yourself thread, in that case I'm Julian and I'm a wrench-oholic. tongue.gif

But seriously, I'm not offended by it but think it is more personal to use your name espeacially when doing buisness with others online or elsewhere. Otherwise its kind of like "gimme my parts, here's your money, thank you BYE"

My name is Sean i dont like this way of spelling my name, but my username is my last name chopped up and shortened. On a side note a local 240sx sight here in vancouver you have to use your first and last name as your user name or you wont get an account. I thought it was abit odd.

Well technically my name is John, but name is supposed to be JohnPaul <spelled like that as one word!!, and it's just easier for people to call me JP... but even then people get that wrong, so what difference does it make if i sign my stuff with PW, which happens to be short for PowerWheels <spelled just like that as one word!! hahaha

but yeah i agree with C8V6C, i hear that name and automatically i know which car the person is talking about, hell even when people reference me for my Del sol seats or the mexicanization (it's a word) of something they call me PowerWheels...

Ok i guess its my turn.....I'm Gilbert from Oklahoma, I like fishing and working on my cars and surfing the internet.....Carnutcertifies was supposed to be Carnutcertified years ago on another board but it was a typo and I just started using it..... I usually go by Bert tho. Pipsqueek got its name because everytime it has broken down over the years we haul it home on a tow dolley.....a friend noticed one day that the tow dolley was almost bigger than the car and called it a pipsqueek...I liked it so it stuck....
87 CRX DX, "Pip Squeek"
87 CRX DX "Parts Car"
86 CRX SI "Currently being built" DD
86 CRX DX "The Project" -(retired) - stripped
71 Chevy PU
81 Chevy PU
01 Dodge Ram 1500 (sold/traded)
97 Honda prelude DD
92 Jeep Cherokee "Slug" (parts)
91 Jeep Cherokee "Slug II"
92 Ford Probe GT Turbo: it blew up, got stripped, and then crushed....back to my CRX...What was I thinking...Oh yea it was free.
Ford........At least they circled the problem...
38 Desoto 2 door sedan (a project that I will someday get around to)

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.
