Was it just me or did anyone else notice the lack of inside rear wheel lift.

I'm guessing that they hadn't figured out welding the rear internal bar yet laugh.gif

I didn't see a single tail pipe. You think they might have had slight modifications like side exhaust?
Honda, because it's hard to look baller in your mom's Volvo.Posted Image
The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

You can see the side exhaust on one of them clearly when he blows the chicane and jumps the curbs. From what I remember of that series (which was a Canadian only series with carbed CDM DX's) the cars were pretty close to stock configuration and they couldn't change much in the chassis/drivetrain.

Neat vid Rob! I actually remember that series!

If you love the Elise, drive a Se7en - Caterham or whatever...
It has even less content than the Elise, is less graceful looking
...and changes direction like a ping pong ball whacked by Thor.

The cars were basically ALL stock except for an added roll cage, side exit exhaust and a better set of brake pads!!

They used to be SO much fun to watch! You would watch an entire race of nose to tail racing and then they'd throw the white flag and cars would be flying off the track in every direction! It was total carnage!!

I wish I would have been old enough to drive when this series was running.......I would have been in it in a heart beat!

Back in the mid to late eighties, racing in Canada was VERY strong, with the the Honda Series, the Players GM series and the Export A F2000 national series all running together! It was a great era of racing that has not been repeated since!

AH THE MEMORIES!!
