Actually a couple shots for our RPR brothers and sisters in the east. Some of them are getting their asses kicked by snow! Hang in there guys!

Nice photos! Is that James Dean? I live an hour away from where he died in his car. I can't remember the name of the town off hand, but it's on the way to the coast.

That movie was great, still funny!
My dad used to fly in SAC and MAC back in 'those days'.

Who obviously doesn't stay up late enough to get in a reasonably timed 'parting shot'. But I do have a few in mind .
If you love the Elise, drive a Se7en - Caterham or whatever...
It has even less content than the Elise, is less graceful looking
...and changes direction like a ping pong ball whacked by Thor.

Ya, well, after that last Shuttle launch, you need to catch up on your sleep!
Do share what you've got. The only rules for the "Parting Shot For The Day" thread is, THERE ARE NO RULES!
I've got some more that I've collected over the years that have nothing to do with cars. I also seem to be drawn to the older stuff.
Take care all,
David

In that case, here's my parting shot from work today...
One of my favorite race cars from the 70's. Can anybody tell me what it is?

FWIW these pics were not taken the day he took his last ride. These are from an SCCA National at Lime Rock in 2005 according to the photographer.
I met him twice, both times at Sebring, once at a Firehawk race in 1987 and a year later at one of our SCCA National races. A gentleman both times.
Tom Cruise....not so much .
