You wouldnt have to drag hunreds of cds around all the time. Thats the main reason to get one.

And BP, my mom didnt buy it for me, I did.

Can I hook it up to my car and house stereo? Or do I always have to have portable speakers or headphones with me?

Newer radios have plug in jacks on the faceplate.

Haha, yeah. Well, I wasnt sure exactly what you were saying in your post and it sounded to me like you said my mom bought it for me. anyway... yeah.
