92-95 civic or del sol. They have the same size rad as far as I know. Cooling is back to normal now. Was getting over 3/4 on the gauge. Now it's back to just a little above a 1/4 on the gauge.

Sorry for my ignorance, but isn't the new radiator smaller?
I'm only used to the Rover 213's cooling system, and it is quite large.
(This one is actually from the A/C equipped cars, which is larger but narrower)
These are both from the models without A/C. (on the right, there's the original one, and an aftermarket radiator on the left)

Yes the the new radiator smaller than stock. With the smaller radiator it help with heat soaking from the exhaust header. It also makes room for my future turbo build.

It seems that Honda went for smaller radiators. It's the same story with my brother's 1998 Civic Aerodeck (MB9).
