Sounds good to me. It'll be the 19th. At least I have enough time to get a Rex together. This next year I have high hopes to have a dependable ride so I can ditch showing up to meets in a family sedan.
I put the FUN in dysfunctional!
Just tell her you are fixing it for someone and it is not yours and when they never show up to pick it up tell her you are keeping it for all of the work you put into it.

Man, still super close to our anniversary. Up for the meet but would prefer no cruise this time. Gets a little confusing with a convoy of cars going thru turns, traffic lights, and after driving for hours kinda like just chillin out a while and scoping the cars. Had a great time this year though. Just write your congressman to allocate some funding to fix your roads up their. I think I lost about 6lbs of rust this trip.

Yea, sorry about that. I too would much rather sit/chill/check out the cars. We don't hafta do a cruise - I was just tryin' to change things up a bit. Next year will be better!

Im up for what ever. Speaking about the rough roads, my exhaust took one hell of a beating... I lost a collector bolt and broke a weld on the tail pipe
Oh and yeah... RRRRRFL85CRRRRRXSI will be there.

Although the BBQ was fantastic the 1.5 hour cruise was a little much. If it was closer it would be cool or if everyone knew where they were going and could get their if they got split up from the group. One suggestion might be to do a TSD or Gimmick style rally where a 30 mile or so route is layed out over some fun roads and time must be kept along with clues found along the route. It is quite fun, I have done many of them. 30 miles is nice and easy and not too much for people who suck at directions. Sarge, if you would like to go with this idea let me know and I'll work with you on planning a course, you know the area, I know how to write a rally.

I think next year we:
a. cruise to an ice cream place nearby
b. cruise to a brewery nearby
c. skip the cruise all together

well i kinda liked doing a cruise as im sure most of you noticed so "C" is out for me which leaves "A" and "B". now lets think about this.... pay for icecream or learn cool shit about beer and enjoy free samples.... i think i know which im voting for

I didn't really mind. I just wasn't real familiar with the area, and I had a passenger who isn't used to high speed convoys. I did have fun though, and the BBq was good.

I'm pretty sure the Sam Adams tours won't be ready for the meet. The Yuengling brewery is 47.75 miles from me, so it's almost an hour trip (one way). It's mostly highway until we get into Pottsville. Parking is terrible at the brewery since it is on street and the steets are narrow and old. Not sure if they can handle a group the size of ours at one time. Might have to make special arrangements. We can discuss this further.
