Check the main ground at the thermostat housing. That was my culprit. to check spark, take a spare plug, unplug #1 wire, plug into the plug, ground the plug housing, and turn it over. You should be able to see the spark. To do it by yourself, use a large pair of vice grips to clamp the plug to the frame.

ok I have spark but i dont smell fuel when plug was being tested...i hear feul pump had a small fuel leak that was fixed so fuel was in th rail...

this is what is questionable

injectors and manifold have been siitting awaile like over a year...
i do not have my down pipe attacthed just header (needs to be bent to fit)
ground cable is attached but but not fully be cause 2 gauge wire doesnt fit all the under washer.
o2 sensor not attached(dont think it matters)

hmmm. Still could be a ground problem. Also the injector resistor box may not be connected, or may be fubar'ed. There is a test of the resistor box in the service manual. Look at the FI engine side, it should be the same procedure regardless of Civic SI or ZC.

make sure to bolt down the ecu, has to be to make a ground. if not, wouln't do shiz. maybe injector resistor?? sounds like the pumps priming the rail, and your getting a spark, so has to have something to do with injectors if it wouldn't even stumble, studder or even attempt to turn over.

humm will think it over, i have a 86 crx service manual, pm me if you need anything looked up.

What do you mean it doesn't turn over? If it won't turn over you won't get spark.

So it turns over, you have spark, and fuel in the rail but not in the cylinder? So, it has to be injector related. I'd start with a check of the resistor box. No CEL, I assume?

well i doubled checked the grounds changed injector resistor bolted the ecu down and it wont fire up....

i smell gas but is enough getting into the cylinder....
the bottom of the header was on fire...

i should check to see if i am getting spark n all cylinders...

timming havent doubled checked yet

clarify for me ther is one bold white mark and there is the small white mark next to a red mark to wich should i set it the timming to???

should i pull injectors and clean them?

oh and i noticed that when the pump is priming the pgmfi light is on
