Hey all... .I have been looking around and realized that there are hardly any body kits out there for the 1st gen, infact i have only found one, it was andy's motorsports or something. Well i have a friend who knows a little about making body kits, so i figure i'm going to go ahead and make my own. Well i was wondering if there is any want for a 1st gen body kit. If i'm successful with my custom job, then i'm assuming it wont be hard to make more once i have the original mold. so if any of you would consider buying let me know, i think i'm starting on the weekend, so it shouldn't take too long to complete.
let me know if anyone is interested. thanks

what price?  How low?  I don't want to be going around corners and having it hit the ground.
If anyone can tell me somting better than a Weberized ZC I have yet to hear it!

We sell a 1G body kit, for pictures of one installed (and in the process of being installed) go here.

I think the kit (front fenders, rear flares) goes for $750 US. They are made to order, so it takes a while to get one.

other body kit would always be nice too if he wants to make his own.  The more the marrier.

The widebody (Mugen style) offered by RPR is the coolest first gen kit
available today!  The Andy's one looks stupid--combat in the front, wings west rip off in the back!

Combat kits make cars look like sh*t.

Holy crap I didn't know you guys sold that kit - I thought Retrorex just happened to find a torn up Mugen kit or something. Dang, I'll have to keep this in mind whenever I start looking for a new car!

Do that!

It's just the front fenders and rear flares, no other pieces.

Front or rear? I assume rear. Pull the cover off. Do you see a large lump of rusted metal that looks vaguely bumper shaped? If so, that's your problem. I had the good fortune to have a new one custom built out of stainless steel by our very own MastaDeeMon, and it works very well. It will soon be on Chris's car.

If it's not that, you have to check all the connection points. Mine originally had none, although it still didn't sag for some reason. Also the cover itself could just be a bit warped over time.

If it is the front bumper, the bumper mounts have probably rusted/streached though the bolt holes.  This can either be rewelded or replaced.  That is a pretty common occurance in 1st gens.
