I'm tired of seeing people name themselves "CRX Si", "198xcrx/civic", and whatever else. Why do you do it? So that we can't identify between you and the other 3,000 people who have one letter differences in their name?

Sometimes I question things. Other times I lick the windows.

You must be talking about me. I did not look at the other screen names. I tryed 1985 CRX si first time and it worked.

That's one hell of a picture you have there, I'm guessing you just drove it off the lot? No, I'm not only talking about you, though your actions make you the target of this discussion. I just wish people would think of something more original... Maybe I should go back to licking the windows...

While were at it, I'd like to see where the idea for some of the oddball names came from?

For instance, mine is my middle name (Gustav) and b-day (Jan-29). Used it for everything.

Over steer is when you hit the wall with your rear end.
Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you move the wall.

Mine has no meaning.

I was in a computer class in sixth grade and we had to make a geocities website, run by yahoo, so I had to make an email address. Class time was running out, so after sitting and staring at the word "bob" for about five minutes, I just put dragcar after it, then changed it to dragster.

Some people wonder if it has to do with cars or being a drag queen. It's the car one. Like the funny cars or something. That thought didn't come to mind when I made the name, so oh well.

well dragcar would have kept things clear in the long run over dragster... but seeing as this is a car site we could only assume (and hope) that it was a drag car and not drag queen...

That's actually a bad thing for it to sit for so long... You at least give it a good run around the block once a week, right?

4N2NR is two words = 4N (foreign) + 2NR (tuner) and it represents the car type (foreign import tuner). From my many visits to many websites I would hazard a guess that a lot of people register a screen name that is board topic related. My Diablo2 gaming name (Felonious Monk) would look like a perverted priest ohmy.gif here and you guys would probably notify the FBI or something. So those that come here and are looking for the service manuals need to be registered and receive confirmation, and to register some off the wall (non car related) name may make them think they wont be approved or granted access.

I have been thinking of changing my name to something like B16ZC1985CRXSI1STGENDOHC130HP1/4MI69.

Sgt. Pepper

Yea, when I first registered I was gen1CRX. Then I noticed there were several members with very close variations of that and decided to change it to Sgt. Pepper. I chose it for several reasons:

1. The obvious "pepper" reference
2. My favorite muppet "Sgt. Floyd Pepper"
3. I was a Sgt. in the Air Force
