well I might as well start a build thread LOL
Last winter I put the car together with a ZC swap and all the goodies I had from the old Black car
this winter will focus on a B16A OBD1 swap.
Using Hasport mounts and a Rywire harness.
I'm started my build and picked up a PO6 converted to a P30
anyway started thinking how I was going to mount the sucker under the seat
when it comes time to put the B16 in.
this is what I came up with
hollowed out a PE7 (Si CRX ECU) and lined it with foam tap.
had to cut the arms off the PO6.
perfect fit. One ECU bracket.
enjoy
Hf Gauge cluster for the VSS.
A little history about the car and it's debut in Motor Trend Classic

"Don't believe the hype" about the N1 crank pulley.
I like em.
BTW anyone know how much hammering I need to do on the frame rail to clear the Alternator?

It varies a bit, but more is better as its too late once the motor is in. I's say at least 10mm and closer to the join linw with the lower support that you would initially be happy with. I ended up not doing enough; and I am now running a shorter belt that standard - which is an out if you don't do enough. I am pretty sure there are some pics posted in a couple of the other build threads

thanks
I don't like the idea of smashing my car with a hammer.
found some pics in the gallery seems like a big dent.

Run a D-series or the old EW alternator. Check out some of my old posts for more info on it. It fits with some slight mods, it clears the frame rail with little or no dent at all, but it does have reduced output, but there are some options for that.

The pictures look like they are out of a catalog. I would also ditch the XTD and the N1 pulley. Unless you are getting the entire rotating assembly balanced with the N1. Looks like you may be some what of a perfectionist and I'm the same way, subscribed.

hmmm not sure about the N1 or the XTD. I've had both on a B18B for five years and then moved them over onto a B18C which sees 8000 most days. I actually like the clutch and have never had an issue.
And this is my daily work car. The fly wheel, pressure plate combo and pulley have about 200,000 kms on them now.
I've heard all the bad press but I'm just running what's worked for me.
The CRX is a 100 percent street car now and i don't abuse my cars anymore.
But I'm thankful for your comments. I promise If any of my motors let go I'll post my results. LOL
Thanks again about the pictures I'm a Commercial photographer and when I have extra time I love combining both my passions.
