Yeah it was a shame, but it was so rotten, it wasn't worth fixing.

i tihnk i've seen this before, they claimed the rust was too much. HAH My car is WAAY worse, fist size holes everywhere, even the panhard.

It was my car people. And it was VERY rusty. The chassis was damn near twisted. It had also been in a bad accidnet and was bent up real good.

from those pics the rust looks ok, but if it was twisted and butchered up, not worth saving. ILl be doing the same to my blue car one day when I find a rust free 1st gen somewhere.

i think i saw some more pictures of the rust under the car before, it was pretty bad if i remember, put my 86 Si to shame .

And it was HIS car, im trashing my 86 Si for the same reason, some of us dont have the time or resources to rebuild an entire car from the fenderwells down.

Id think on this site if anywhere people would understand how rare 1&3gs are coming, Especially Si's.. If i could have found a car in half as good of shape as the one in the pics to have as a project id be happy as fuck.... People need to think more and by cutting them up for no apparent reason but lazyness is just stupid.
