well, a buddy at work has told me that his brother-in-law's car is up for sale, it was a project car, and is about 95% done, and he only wanted $1500 for the whole thing......

I asked him what it was, and he said some Datsun....so I said I will go out and take a look at it.....

Well, I was expecting some kind of a stripped car, with part's and peices in boxes, so I drove up and looked at it, and OMG OMFG>>>>>>>>>>>>>OMFG!!!!!!!!

The price is still at $1500, and I just took on look at the car, and said yes.....the CRX is going to have to fight for my one garage space...BTW....It started right up, for not being driven for 12-13 year's.

I am going to go to my bank and see if I can get a loan.
If not, then I will have to say bye to one of my car's (hope it's the Jeep that sell's first)

anyway's.....here's some pic's I took today.....













now all it need's is some airfilter's, rear bumper, side mirror's, and a sterio of my choice....hehe

I was viewing some guys site that had a 240 with a LS1 and a SC... it was sick.. he was keeping up with a bike... idled like a lumpy pig...

Cool vintage car to have. Datsuns Zs have dissappeared in the last couple of years
and there is more Wanted than For Sale ads in the papers for them, I've noticed. I
bet the same thing is going to happen with the rex in a couple of years....

It would be a really cool piece for your showroom once the Hangar/import shop plan
goes down.

Those wheels look like they're from the General Lee, are those Datsun wheels?
And is the rear 911-esque tail, is that aftermarket? - I'd rip that off....lol.

Thats a sweet deal! The wing is a little big but i think it looks good on that car. At least its not a huge wing on a fwd. The back fo that is going to look sick once the bumper is on. And the rest of the car already does look sick. What year is it?

That would be a 1974 260Z, it has, what could be described as, the worst carbs known to man. Webers are not a want, they are a must. But overall, cars looks sweet. My dad had one..it ROCKED!!!!

Awesome! Put some newer tires on it though.

I drove a 260Z for a while, it was low on power, but HIGH on potential. Go for it. I love the headlight covers ... not wild about the wing though.

Damn dude, $1500 is a hella good deal. A Triple Weber setup would prolly cost that much.

Different wheels and tires, and the wing can stay isnt THAT bad.

Well, I like the wing, it kinda give's the car a good look, but I can't stand wing's like that on a FWD. I like the red, it will match up nicely to the garage's toolbox'es and the rex. I am already looking for some carb's, weber's, solex, mikuni.....anything... but I will get some new tire's for it, so it can be track legal, and it will have a kicking sterio system....(SONY).....
And as for the mirror's, I will try to get some Fairlady fender mirror's from Japan....
now......What color will that valvecover look good in, polished up, or paint?
