Nice period piece and gives it a good retro look IMO. Something different to go against the tinting trend.
A WarrenTee is better than a guarantee. This WarrenTee is for life.

5 reasons cars are better than women
5) You can rub and wax a car in your driveway and not get arrested
4) Car's don't get mad at you for no reason every 28 days
3) You can't put a bumper sticker that says "How's my driving? Dial 1-800- EAT-S*IT!" on a woman.
2) You can sell your car to a complete stranger and nobody will get mad at you
1) Women can't go 200 miles per hour.

If you can get a nice set, go for it. IIRC there are two kinds, the Si version is taller to clear the wiper. Si will fit on a DX/HF, of course, but the reverse is not true.
Funny how your opinions change. I just had to get a set of louvers for my 1G when I bought it new, being the mid-'80s when louvers were all the rage. After a couple years of "Man, these things are a PITA to clean!", I sold them.
If I still had the car, I think it would look cool in a retro way like the other guys have said.

Do they stand automated carwashes ? No risk of damaging or "striping" (couldnt find the correct word) ?

Question- What about frost in the winter? Does it still form under the louvers at night?
If so, I guess you just have to wait for the electric defroster wires to melt it and that might take awhile...
