Hopefully this thread will serve as a place to organize my progress with pictures, discussion, and bits of relevant information.
Got this gem from BP, thanks again! 'came with a partly installed 1.3 4spd which was a wonderful christmas present to the "trash ferries" that take the metal that I set in front of my house style_emoticons/default/smile.gif.

-Si cluster
-cheapo cd head unit, debating on removing it in favor of a headphone jack and a hidden amp (PowerWheels86 style!)
-OE rear option speakers (not yet installed, need new speakers)
-more to add here as there has been some work done to the interior already
Goals:
(general)
-Faster 1/4 mile, better fuel economy, and better handling than a 8g Si, without giving up any major creature comforts.
(specific)
-35/40mpg+ I'd like to squeeze as much economy out of this thing as possible.
-100% reliable, I want to be able to drive to Canada and back on a whim!
-decent A/C, I live in the south, its hot as hell here
-15.1 or better quarter mile
-to handle as well as it can with as little investment as possible- Simple bang for the buck mods
