Our cars are considered "Classic" in most states. If you register your car as a "Classic" in the two states I've lived in the past 10 years (Idaho and Washington), they only issue one plate for the rear. So that leaves the front empty.
My inlaws own a screen printing business, and I was thinking of ideas.
What kind of interest would there be in RPR License Plates?
I'm thinking of these options:
Black with a Red Circle Logo
Red with White Circle Logo
All would have "redpepperracing.com" underneath.
Acrylic License plate blanks are not very expensive, and I'd have a discount on screen printing, so they probably wouldn't be that expensive.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update count so I can order.
1B = 1 Black
1R = 1 Red
1? = What color?
?? = Possible
If you see any question marks behind your name, let me know so I can update. I was going to order the blanks this week, but I'll let is go for a few weeks to make sure everybody that wants in gets in. Going by votes alone, I'd say it would be save to say I'll be making 15 Black and 5 Red plates. but some poeple mentioned they want more than one, so i really can't go by the color poll.
Gustav129 = 1B 1R
MrFixit = 2B
Chedda_j = 2B
Old School Rex = 1?
Kaymo = 1?
Riesh = 2?
Zakats = 1+B 1+R
KCHC = ?? (I know you want to see a finished product first)
Agressive ST = ?B
Black87crx = ??
Condor = ??
PuddleSkipper = ??
Blue87Crxsi = ??
1986_crx_si = ??
4N2NR = ??
rileyescobar = ??
So going by the count so far, there's possibly more that 15 Black.

Once I figure out the final price per unit, shipping, I'll add a few dollars to each unit to go towards RPR. I will not be making one cent of profit on any of this (even any difference in shipping will go towards RPR). I was looking at my old calendars yesterday and I miss that Sgt Pepper does not offer any RPR products anymore. At least the license plates would not be that big of a financial risk to me if people back out.
If these work out, then maybe I'll talk to Sgt Pepper and maybe pick up where he left off with the T-Shirts.

Great idea!
I would not be interested so much in the front one but possibly one
to put up in my cube.
For the rear plate holder I would get a couple.
But here is the deal. In NC you can no longer use the fat ones.
You have to use the skinny ones. I am not sure if this is
a Federal or state law.
But the holder can not touch the month and year stickers on top,
or, the North Carolina across the bottom. $100 fine.
Which they are not overly enforcing, YET.

Definitely interested!
5 reasons cars are better than women
5) You can rub and wax a car in your driveway and not get arrested
4) Car's don't get mad at you for no reason every 28 days
3) You can't put a bumper sticker that says "How's my driving? Dial 1-800- EAT-S*IT!" on a woman.
2) You can sell your car to a complete stranger and nobody will get mad at you
1) Women can't go 200 miles per hour.

As for Licence plate frames, I found black ones, and they cost about the same at the plate blanks themselves. They are called "New York Style" and are thinner at the top.
For those I'm thinking of doing the half round logo (like what's in the bar in my sig and at the top left of every page).
Another idea I had for the plates would be to get a hold of who ever (I'll do a search later) made the silhouette vinyl decals and do that too. The silhouette logo would also be great for a back of a t-shirt, with just the round logo on the front chest.

Pennsylvania is a one plate state so my front is exposed & naked
I put the FUN in dysfunctional!
Just tell her you are fixing it for someone and it is not yours and when they never show up to pick it up tell her you are keeping it for all of the work you put into it.

I'd likely be in for two or more.
after voting edit: if you made both, I'd likely take one of each. Black would look best on my (silver) car and will likely go better on more cars for color schemes. With that said, I would buy two or more regardless- I'm not missing out on limited RPR production runs anymore!

I'm in.
THEN: soon after that : next in order of time, position, narration, or enumeration <walked to the door, then turned><first came the clowns, and then came the elephants>
THAN: used as a function word to indicate difference of kind, manner, or identity ; used especially with some adjectives and adverbs that express diversity <anywhere else than at home><older than I am> <easier said than done>
