It was produced and the build date was 83 then sold in 84 so yeah its an 83

Honda, because it's hard to look baller in your mom's Volvo.

yeah, my "86 civic Si" was made in nov. 85.. so i guess i really have an 85 si! hahaaa. i know i don't really, but technically, the state of virginia will allow me to get "classic" plates when the car turns 25 years old, from the build date, not the title date..
1986 Civic Si; b16a is in.. just gotta get it running..

its an '83.
look closely youll see the headlight covers. the headlights are recessed with a plastic cover that slants like the newer lights.

Is it seriously 25 years for CLASSIC plates in VA??? It's 15 for classic and 25 for antique here in PA. I'm in the process of getting a classic tag for my 3G but beware..."the vehicle must appear stock."

jdm land had flush in 83 those arent covers... look liek covers because the have the black housing... you would see the other style light behind it..those are true flush
